Christ Church, Reading
The Joyful Noise program is a monthly
collection of coins taken up by the children of
Christ Church during worship. These offerings
are used to purchase items for needy children
at Lauer’s Park Elementary School, Berks
Women in Crisis Center, and other social
agencies in Reading. Joyful Noise is usually on
the 3rd Sunday of the month:

Remember to save the "change in your
pocket" to make a change in Berks
County.

We Believe

+ God and your child have a unique
relationship with each other.
+ The growth of this relationship
should be assisted by an adult, but is
directed by the Spirit of God within
your child.
+ Your children need their own place
to foster the growth of that
relationship.
+ Your children’s spiritual growth is
best served through tangible, but
indirect means.
Nursery Care

Nursery care is provided Sundays from 8:45 AM through the 11:45 AM worship service.
Care is provided for infants to age 2. Christ Church offers religious education for children
and youth ranging from age 3 through grade 12. The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
(CGS) for ages 3-6 is each week Sunday morning, starting in early September and
concluding by the beginning of June. The children gather from 9 am -10:50 am in the
atrium. Materials, closely linked to biblical and liturgical sources, are attractively displayed
for children to explore as a way to deepen their religious experiences.

"Fleecies for the Newly Baptized" Program:
We love to hug our children. Each newly baptized individual at Christ Church will be
receiving a warm cuddle in the form of a fleece blanket
